Grandparent Program
OASIS
Program to assist grandparent(s) who are now raising their grandchild. They produce a handbook for all resources and have a "respite" program that will pay for a baby-sitter so the grandparent(s) can take care of their daily living needs.
In addition they have information on grandparent support groups all over the metro area. This program is 15 yrs. old and is funded through grants by the state and some monies from the federal government.
