YDD Program
Evaluation
We have utilized both objective and subjective measurements in an
attempt to better understand the full impact YDD has on drinking
patterns in young adults.
A.
Subjective Measurements Data
The results from YDD have been very positive. To date, 651 participants
have successfully completed the program, with 55 currently
enrolled. Only 92 participants have failed to finish the program
since its inception. Of those who successfully completed the
program and whose records are available, only 7.4% have been rearrested
for alcohol-related reasons. Statistically, this 7.4% is
significantly lower to the state’s recidivism rate of 36.6%
(p<.0001) for DUI 2nd offense offenders.
